I rejoiced with those who said to me, “Let us go to the house of the Lord.”

WORSHIP

At St. Lucas we gather before our gracious God to offer him our worship and praise.  We assemble to hear God's holy Word and celebrate his life-giving Sacraments. Through these means God strengthens our faith and walks us ever closer to our eternal home with him in heaven.  All are welcome and encouraged to join us for any of our services.

We try to make the services easy to follow.  For your convenience the entire order of service is printed out in a service folder that you will receive from an user as you arrive.  Many of the elements of the service have ancient roots in the Christian church.  Some are very recent.  Lutheran worship is specifically designed to include participation of the assembly.  Please feel free to participate as soon as you feel comfortable.  We understand if you would like to take time to observe before joining in.

For added convenience, restrooms are located on the lower level of the church.  Parents who need to attend to upset infants or toddlers may use a parent's room located in the entry area of the church.  A large print version of the service folder and printed copies of the sermons are available for those who have difficulty seeing or hearing.

Our ushers, pastors and members are happy to answer any questions you may have about worship at St. Lucas.
