Pastor James G Buske serves as Pastor and Director of the Lighthouse Youth Center and has experience organizing and recruiting volunteers, and through the dedication and Christ-like love he has shown for his members, he has proven to be a strong mentor and guide for the Lighthouse youth. The Lighthouse Youth Center (LYC) is an urban after-school program for youth ages 10-18. Lighthouse will be opening its 3rd Milwaukee location in late fall of 2019. LYC provides a safe structured place for youth to gather, have some fun, get help with their homework and study the truths of God’s Word — the love of Jesus permeates everything that we do! Come and learn about the amazing work that God the Holy Spirit is doing at the Lighthouse!
Kessia Boche is with Kingdom Workers and will be speaking on:
· Kingdom Worker Foster Support Program. This will include the program’s needs, ways to get involved and congregational support.
· Kingdom Workers Family Support Services. This will be a brief overview of the other programs we are using/developing to support families, overarching need for Christian relationships and sharing the love of Christ to encourage healing for people who have experienced traumatic (relational) experiences. We can all do something to help people who are in need.
Pastor Jonathan Kuske will be speaking on: The Hope Center & Pillars Resource Center at St Matthew. Appleton and the Fox Cities has over 300 homeless individuals and many more living in poverty. St. Matthew has been blessed as a center for bringing earthly relief and spiritual peace. Every month, over 60 families and individuals receive personal supplies and diapers from The Hope Center. Every day, over 35 homeless individuals come to pillars Resource Center for counseling, life skills, and addiction recovery. Each is a precious soul redeemed by Jesus and in need of his rescues. St. Matthew is adapting to reap the Lord’s harvest in these unique mission fields.
